Flappy Bird is a free game by independent game designer Dong Nguyen a Vietnam based developer and currently topping the chart on App Store and Play Store.
The game was developed and successfully launched on March 2013 for the iPhone 5, then they updated to iOS6 and later in September 2013. In January Flappy Bird games is topped on the free category of the American and Chinese iTunes App Store and afterward same month in UK App Store where it was touted as the new Angry Birds in its generation. Where become the most downloaded Game app on the App Store today. It looks similar with Super Mario World graphics, a very basic low graphics mechanics but it looks so addictive.
How's the mechanics? To aimed the high score the bird keep flying by tapping the screen without hitting the obstacles like the pipes, if the bird hits the obstacles then the game is over. After the bird flies through the pipes the player gained an equivalent point. A very simple game for smartphone make their bird slightly high into the sky. Tap continuously and the bird will begin to climb quickly, but stop tapping and the bird will plummet like a rock.
