A couple of day when Samsung announced its 4.4 KitKat firmware update for its current flagship Galaxy S4 LTE-A. Today, same country origin LG has announced the availability of its Android 4.4.2 KitKat update on their one of their flagship smartphone in the recent day – the LG G2. Unlike the Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE-A model, LG G G2 is only available in Korea.
According to the source PhoneArena that the said update was originally expected to roll out at the end of January in Korea, but ended up being around a week late.
The update will support Android Run Time, which improved replacement to the current Dalvik runtime. It also makes it 50 percent faster than its previous system and has an ability to pre-load an pp bytecode from install of loading on demand when a user open an app.
