Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE-A gets Android 4.4 KitKat firmware update

Samsung has recently announced for the latest KitKat firmware update for their one of the current flagship smartphone Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE-A model. But the announcement stated that intended only in Korean S4 LTE-A models only.

As what the traditional sequence, the said update is new available both Kies and Over-The-Air (OTA).
Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE-A SHV-E330S version for Korea's local telecom network carrier company SK Telecom based in Korea and Galaxy S4 LTE-A SHV-E330K for KT Network.

The model, mention is based on Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and it will able to support LET-Advanced networks capability tat can allows by up to 150Mbps data speed.

In addition to Samsung Kies the Android 4.4 update can also be prompted manually by accessing Settings > General > About device > Software update.

According to the report, the updates brings an improved TouchWiz user interface (UI), better RAM performance and other notable new features inside the system tray.

In the recent status, Samsung have no details on when the Android 4.4 KitKat update will be released for the same model in other region or wider countries around the globe.
