We have already seen a photo and a video of the Samsung SM-Z9005 which is a Samsung Tizen smartphone, believed to be a prototype device, and now the handset has turned up on eBay. Last week, Samsung broke the silence and announced that its newest Tizen devices will be showcased at Mobile World congress event.
The eBay listing revealed that the Samsung SM-Z9005 features a 4.7 inch display and also came with 16GB of built in storage, unfortunately those are the only details that were listed with the auction. Samsung could possibly announce a couple of new Tizen smartphones at MWC 2014 next month, so we may still get to find out more details about the Samsung SM-Z9005. This is likely due to the idea that Samsung will allow close hands-on action for the masses that day rather than the day before it.
As the newest report we have some more juicy Tizen news for you, as a particular Samsung Tizen smartphone has reappeared on the blogosphere.
It has a very similar appearance to 2012's Galaxy S3. According to the leak, it will have a 4.8in, 1280x720 resolution display and be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, making it very powerful compared to current mid-range handsets. It has at least one physical button, but the leaked image doesn't show a back or multitasking button. These could of course be backlit, as with the Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note 3.
